At 40, Ajay had almost given up hope of achieving a good physique.
After two back surgeries, it seemed like a distant dream.
But as his weight escalated, he began to feel embarrassed about his body and decided to take a chance with the Ultimate Performance transformation programme.

In 10 weeks, Ajay lost 7kg (15lbs), brought his body fat down from 24% to just 9.7%, and finally achieved the lean and muscular look he so admired.
Work, travel, and stress had resulted in bad dietary habits and weight gain. And his back injuries kept him from any type of serious training. He had always been an active and fit person, and this recent decline in his fitness levels left him unhappy and frustrated.

“Mentally, I knew I wanted to do something about it and also that I would have the willpower and determination to succeed, I just did not know where to start and felt almost embarrassed to get back into a gym.”
Diet-wise, Ajay certainly wasn’t beset by bad habits, but just needed guidance on eating for his specific body goals.
“My diet prior to starting the transformation with U.P. was not so bad in my eyes; it was just as I learnt later, not appropriate for my goals.
“I didn’t drink excessively or eat junk food, but I also had no real structure to what I was eating and did not appreciate the importance of good nutrition.”

Ajay had tried for years in vain to achieve the physical ideal he wanted – he almost struggled to believe it would be possible in a few short weeks.
But happily, Ultimate Performance proved him wrong.
“I felt that if I could never have achieved that beach-ready body over all those years, what chance is there that I could really transform my body in only three months?”
“All those doubts started to disappear from the first session with Kane, when he diligently went through what we were going to do over the course of our time together and that I was going to blow my aim to look like Brad Pitt out of the water!
“They were completely extinguished following the first check-in, as the fat started falling off and that muscular physique started to show.”
As the results started showing, Ajay’s confidence increased, and with it, his determination to carry on with the intense but manageable training regime.
“Both my lifestyle and diet changed massively during my time with U.P., I would now plan my meals, eat far more vegetables, and make the time to get out and be active.
“I realised that having no time for this was a self-imposed restriction. There was always time, but now I was ensuring that I prioritised what I did with it.”
“This change had an almost immediate effect on me in terms of how I felt. I had more energy, I felt less pain and stiffness and felt I was better able to concentrate at work, making better use of the time when I was in the office.”
Feeling different was a game-changer, but it wasn’t until friends and family started commenting on how drastically different he looked that Ajay noticed the physical changes.
“In terms of how I looked, I only really started to see this myself once others had commented on how lean and fit I was looking. It was almost as if this was a side effect of better wellbeing!
“The training is incredibly tough, and at times you need to dig very deep, but achieving more each week than the last drives you on even more. All of the U.P. team have the most incredible knowledge of the body, how to train, and how to push people on in just the right way.”
Apart from the immediate physical changes, Ajay’s biggest benefit was the knowledge he gained.
He had always been quite aware of nutrition, but with U.P., he now had exact and scientific knowledge that could help him maintain his lean physique in the long run.
“For me, the biggest benefit of the transformation has been my relationship with food. I never had a bad one, I just did not appreciate how important nutrition was, and I now know how to ensure that I continue on this path without sacrificing my social life with my friends and family.
“I always considered myself to be more knowledgeable than most people out there, but I really did not know that much! I feel that it is more than just a new physique that I take away with me, but a new approach to life that will live with me forever.”
