Do U.P. trainers have qualifications?

Yes. Every U.P. trainer holds recognised personal training qualifications as a baseline. Many also have degree-level education, advanced coaching certifications, nutrition qualifications, and specialist training in areas such as injury management, pre- and post-natal training.

But qualifications alone are never enough. What matters is how knowledge is applied. All U.P. trainers go through rigorous internal recruitment process, then continuous education in the U.P. Method, supported by mentorship, assessment, and clear performance standards. This ensures your trainer isn’t just qualified on paper, but consistently operating at the level required to deliver exceptional results.

How do you match me with the right personal trainer?

We match you carefully and intentionally with your specific needs in mind. Your goals, training history, lifestyle, preferences, and any injuries or limitations are all considered. From there, we assign a trainer whose experience and strengths are best aligned to what you want to achieve. Finding the right personal trainer on your own can be difficult. What’s it like training with a U.P. trainer?

Can I train around an injury or medical condition?

Yes. Many clients train with us around injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations. Your trainer will assess your history, movement, and any relevant medical considerations before building your program. Training is then adapted intelligently to work around limitations while still driving progress safely. Where appropriate, we also collaborate with medical professionals to ensure your training supports your health, not compromises it. We can discuss your specific needs and explain how we will tailor the U.P. Method to you at your complimentary consultation.

Is the process different at every gym?

No. The experience is consistent wherever you train. Every U.P. gym operates to the same standards, with the same methods and systems. Trainers are educated, supported, and assessed in the same way across all locations, ensuring the same level of coaching, accountability, and service for you as a client. The setting may change.
