Who is eligible to participate in the referral program?

Any active U.P. client with an active training package. Referrals can also be shared by inactive clients, but rewards will only be valid for six months and applicable to any future package purchased by the Referrer.

Can I refer someone who has been a UP client in the past?

Yes, if they are not currently training with us and don’t have an active package, then please encourage them back.

Can I refer someone to train at a different U.P. gym than me?

Absolutely. Your friend or family member can choose to train at any U.P. gym.

How many people can I refer?

There is no limit to how many people you can share refer. However, rewards are limited to a maximum of 10 successful referrals per calendar year.

What happens if the referred individual doesn’t complete their trial?

A reward will only be credited if the referred individual completes two trial sessions, purchases a package, and completes their first session of the purchased package at any U.P. gym.

Can the reward be transferred or exchanged for cash?

No, rewards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, loyalty points, or any other form of monetary compensation.

How do I know if my referral was successful?

The status of your referral will be updated to “Successful” in the “Referrals” section of the app once the referred individual completes the required steps: two trial sessions, package purchase, and first session of the purchased package.

When can I expect my reward?

Your complimentary training session will be added to your account within 14 business days of the referral’s successful completion.

How do I redeem my complimentary session?

Your complimentary sessions will automatically cover the cost of your next session, preserving your existing package balance.

How is my data and the referred individual’s data protected?

All data is processed in accordance with local data protection laws and the U.P. Privacy Policy, which can be accessed on our website. Referrers and referred individuals will have the option to opt in or out of marketing communications.

What should I do if I have a problem or question about the referral program?

What if I suspect someone is misusing the referral program?

Please contact U.P. customer support customercare@upfitness.com. Misuse, including fraudulent activity, may result in disqualification from the program.

What happens if U.P. modifies or terminates the referral program?

U.P. reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time. Any ongoing referrals at the time of termination will still be honoured.

Are there any restrictions on sharing referral codes?

Yes, referral codes should be shared only with friends, family, or acquaintances who have consented to receive them. Public sharing or commercial distribution of codes is strictly prohibited.

Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions:

  • “Referrer” refers to the existing U.P. client who initiates the referral.
  • “Referred Individual” refers to the person receiving the referral invite and completing a session at U.P.
  • “Reward” refers to complimentary training sessions earned upon successful completion of a referral.
  • “Active Client” refers to a U.P. client with an active training package.

2. Referral Mechanism:

  • To refer an individual, the Referrer must navigate to the “Referrals” section within the UP Transform app and share their unique referral invite with the Referred Individual.
  • Referral codes must be shared exclusively with individuals who have consented to receive such communications from the Referrer.
  • OR inform the Gym Manager at your current location of your intent to refer a third party.

3. Eligibility for Rewards:

  • Rewards are credited to the Referrer following the successful completion of the Referred Individual’s first paid session when using the referral code.
  • Referral can be used at any U.P. gym.
  • Referrers must be Active Clients to qualify for rewards.
  • Referred Individuals may be eligible to receive welcome discounts or complimentary consultations as applicable at the time of registration.
  • Individuals enrolled in Online Personal Training or LiveUP are not eligible to participate in this program.

4. Referral Limitations:

  • Each unique referral invite can only be redeemed once per Referred Individual.
  • Referrers may invite multiple individuals but are limited to a maximum of 10 successful referrals per calendar year.
  • Referred Individuals may train at any U.P. gym location of their choice.

5. Reward Confirmation:

  • The status of a referral is marked as “Successful” in the UP Transform app upon the Referred Individual’s completion of their first paid session.

6. Reward Fulfilment:

  • Rewards will be credited to the Referrer’s account within 14 business days of the referral’s successful completion.
  • Rewards will automatically be applied to the Referrer’s next booked session, preserving the balance of any existing package.
  • The monetary value of the reward may vary based on location-specific pricing.

7. Reward Validity:

  • Complimentary sessions must be redeemed within six (6) months from the date of issuance and are contingent upon the Referrer maintaining an active training package.
  • Inactive clients may still participate in the referral program. Successful referrals will result in rewards valid for six (6) months, applicable to any future package purchased by the Referrer.

8. Non-Transferability and Monetary Value:

  • Referral codes and complimentary sessions are non-transferable and hold no cash value.
  • Rewards may not be exchanged for cash, loyalty points, or any other form of monetary compensation.

9. Program Modifications and Termination:

  • U.P. reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program at its sole discretion without prior notice.
  • Any referrals in progress at the time of termination will be honoured.

10. Misuse and Sanctions:

  • Referral codes are intended for personal use only and must not be distributed for commercial purposes.
  • U.P. reserves the right to revoke rewards, disqualify participants, or terminate accounts in cases of suspected misuse or fraudulent activity.

11. Fraud Monitoring:

  • U.P. employs monitoring mechanisms to detect fraudulent activity. Prohibited actions include but are not limited to:
  • Generating fake referrals.
  • Using bots or automated systems to exploit the program.
  • Sharing referral codes in unauthorized public forums.
  • Rewards obtained through fraudulent means will be revoked, and associated accounts may face suspension or termination.

12. Privacy and Data Protection:

  • U.P. will not retain any personal data shared by the Referrer. Referred Individuals will submit their personal data directly upon accepting a referral.
  • All data will be processed in accordance with applicable local data protection regulations and the U.P. Privacy Policy, which can be accessed on the official U.P. website.
  • Referred Individuals will be provided with opt-in and opt-out options for marketing communications.
  • Data will only be retained as necessary to process referrals and fulfil rewards. Unnecessary data will be securely deleted.

13. Dispute Resolution:

  • Any disputes arising from this referral program will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the referred session occurred.
  • Participants are encouraged to contact U.P. customer support to resolve disputes amicably prior to pursuing legal action.
