If you are not currently a Level 3 qualified personal trainer or you need further certifications, you can gain the qualifications you need with courses provided by our education partners at The Health and Fitness Institute. We will guarantee you an interview at Ultimate Performance once you qualify with THFI.
Initial interview
You will do an online test, a virtual interview or an initial call, dependent on your location.
Recruitment day
You will lead a personal training session with a fellow candidate in the gym. Next is a one-to-one interview with the Gym Manager.
Case study
You will plan a four-week diet and training program. Next is a virtual interview with the Gym Manager where you share client success stories.
Final interview
You will have a final stage interview with the Regional Manager before consideration of a job offer.

Mark has risen through the ranks to become Ultimate Performance’s Director of Experience.
After joining the business as a Junior Trainer in 2015, he progressed into a gym management role before being appointed as Senior VP in North America, working out of Washington DC.
In his current position, Mark ensures we as a business create the best possible experience for trainers and clients alike.

Aroosha started her career as a junior personal trainer at Ultimate Performance. Her expertise led her to become Senior Social Media Executive at our Head Office, helping to create world-class content within the marketing team.
Aroosha is now Marketing Project Manager using her extensive knowledge of U.P. on and off the gym floor to execute campaigns and projects across the global business.

Chris spearheads business growth, operations and trainer performance across the Middle East and Asia as APAC Managing Director.
He joined as U.P.’s second ever junior in 2012 after completing his Sports Science degree and working as a full-time trainer at university. Building on his gym floor experience, he developed into his current role working closely with gym managers to implement strategic goals, manage performance and drive new business.

Sean oversees our worldwide personal training team in his role as Global Personal Training Director.
Joining U.P. as the company’s first-ever junior in 2012, he has advanced to become a senior leader.
Sean works closely with gym managers and leads on recruitment, education, development, performance and client management to ensure our global training team delivers a significant return on our clients’ investment.

Emily is the Gym Manager for both Ultimate Performance Brentwood and West Hollywood gyms in Los Angeles.
She started her career as a junior at U.P. Manchester in 2016, rising rapidly to Associate Level and moving to work at London’s U.P. Mayfair.
Emily established herself as a top 10 trainer globally in 2019 before moving to Los Angeles, where she leads a team of personal trainers across U.P.’s flagship California gyms.
Kurt worked in accounting and finance before Ultimate Performance, but his heart was never in it. His passion lay in fitness, and he had loved the buzz of teaching group training back in college.
But he never saw it as a viable career until he saw the results and professionalism at Ultimate Performance. It convinced him to transition from finance to personal training.
