How did you feel about yourself before you started training with Ultimate Performance?

In many ways, physically and mentally, I was shot. I felt like I was in a hole. I knew how to get out, but knowing how to get out and actually doing it are two very different things. I got myself into such a state that I needed help to pull myself out. That’s when I came to Ultimate Performance.


Do you feel as though you could have completed your transformation without the guidance of U.P.?

I couldn’t have achieved my results without the help of U.P. You bring accountability and a holistic approach to training. It’s not just your own challenge, it becomes the challenge of your trainer that you work with. Doing everything together, winning together, and encountering a few challenges on the way together. You create a bond, which creates results.

You think about the method of training, you think about dieting, sleep, and mental health. There’s no way that I could have done this on my own. I’ve learned about how to take care of myself and what to do to achieve these results.

How much have you changed throughout this process?

From day one to now, in terms of how I feel, it’s night and day. I don’t recognise the person in the before pictures when I look at them now.

I know it was me, and I remember being in that position, being in that dark hole, and now it feels like a total transformation.

I feel like I’ve got my head up, I have my confidence back. I’m enjoying seeing the world around me. Before, if anything, it was a depression, but now I feel totally different, I feel fantastic.

What has been the most life-changing aspect of your journey at U.P.?

The most life-changing thing about my time at U.P. is that I feel that I’ve got my life back. I was in a position where, in many ways, I’d lost who I was.

Going through this process at U.P., the training, diet, thinking about sleep and other aspects of health, I feel like I’m back to who I was. From a physical, mental, overall approach, I feel like I’m the optimal version of who I am.

How have friends and family reacted to your transformation?

The reaction of my friends and family has been “wow”. They’re very happy. The change that they’ve seen in me is significant. It’s not just the physical change that they’re pleased about, it’s the confidence and the mental change. It’s knowing how to optimise myself and be the best person I can be.

Would you recommend U.P. to others?

Yes, without a doubt. A lot of people, like me, might know what they want to do with their physical health, but if you really want to optimise it, if you want to learn and you want to kick on, Ultimate Performance is the place to be.

It can be anything from a weight loss transformation, to improving training techniques, to building muscle, to even just a few small pointers here and there. This is the best personal training gym that I’ve been to, bar none!
