Jonathan is proud to say he’s in the shape of his life at 46 years old.

He’d spent years trying to lose weight, working with personal trainers and dieting hard, but nothing ever really worked the way he hoped.

Now fast approaching 50, Jonathan believed this was his “last chance” to build a physique he was proud of.

What was your motivation to start training with Ultimate Performance?

I’ve tried a number of personal trainers and multiple gyms, but I never saw results.

It was my last attempt to get into shape, so I’m incredibly happy I made this choice.


What did your lifestyle look like before you started working with your trainer?

I like to look my best. I like to look good and feel healthy. It’s something that I always strive for.

I would always eat healthily and exercise, but I needed a real push to help me get the results I wanted.

What are the biggest changes you’ve experienced over the past few months?

I definitely feel like I have more energy now.

Before training with Ultimate Performance, I would run for 20 minutes around three or four times a week. But I felt maxed out. I wasn’t fit.

Now, if I want to, I can run for 45 minutes and feel like I can keep going. I’m much more energetic and I’m far healthier, which is great.


How quickly did you see physical changes working with your trainer?

Honestly, I was achieving personal bests every session. I was seeing my weight drop every week too. That made me strive for more.

I knew the improvements were hard-earned so I didn’t want to reverse the direction I was heading in by slacking or being lazy.

And finally, how important was it to have that arm of support around you from start to finish?

I really appreciated the professionalism and expertise of my trainer. He was genuinely invested in my progress.

He was like a cheerleader, celebrating my successes, which pushed me to do my best. It was absolutely worth my time and investment.
