Soo proved the sky really is the limit after achieving a body transformation with UP he thought was impossible.

The 45-year-old had never trained before and says his lifestyle of eating out and enjoying wine had taken its toll on his health.

Before he started his body transformation journey at UP, Soo says he wasn’t feeling great.
“I generally felt okay on my physical and mental health, but far from superb. This was mainly due to age and taking myself for granted over the years.

“I saw the UP ads and impressed with many success stories. So I was hoping to improve my overall physique. My initial motivation was simple – mainly overall health and strength improvement then some level of body transformation.”



One of the major things holding Soo back from getting the body he had always wanted was his nutrition – he ate out frequently, enjoyed a drink when out socialising and didn’t have control of his diet.

“I think I was not as educated and well informed on the food I was having. I tended to overeat food with less nutritional value – lots of big meals and buffets, which doesn’t help. I was a social drinker and fond of wine.”

But working with his UP trainer Joe has been a true education in understanding the importance of calories and macronutrients and the power of nutrition to finally give him the body he always dreamed of.

It has helped him beat some bad habits and develop some healthy new ones, enabling him to take control of his diet and get in the best shape of his life.

His new lifestyle helped him drop weight and cut body fat almost instantaneously.

“My trainer taught me how to eat right. I am becoming more aware of the foods I am having, especially after knowing overall success is highly depending on good diet.

“I have cut down almost all alcohol, and sugary foods since started the training – this was the hardest part with all sort of work and friends socialising events.

“Gradually, I have become much more well informed on the calories and nutritional value – I am very careful with what I eat and how much I eat.”

It’s not just his diet that has been transformed – Soo is now more motivated than ever to train hard and keep up his new-found fitness regime.

“My daily routine also changed a lot – I am usually not a highly motivated person when come to exercise.

“Now I am making the effort to hit the gym and cardio few times in a week – this was hard in the beginning, however, regular motivation and guidance from Joe – this has made it easier and reshape my way of life now.


“I am definitely more result-driven as the program unraveled things I could do to my body and Joe has been instrumental in how to unleash my potential.”

The difference in Soo from Day 1 to now is incredible – after finding training tough, he is now stronger, fitter and happier than ever.

“I remembered my first training session – it was super challenging to complete the simple routine Joe arranged for me.

“After weeks of training – my overall strength definitely has never felt so good. I managed to complete the routine with higher intensity.”

Speaking about the feeling after a training session with UP, he says: “Most importantly, I feel happy afterward – it makes all the pain worthwhile.”

Soo has been blown away by the results he managed to achieve. Even after a couple of weeks, he was happy with the changes he made.

But seeing the results motivated him to keep going to see just how far he could push himself and what he could achieve.

“Even I was a late starter to working out, I have observed overall health improvement.
