Rohaid regained his confidence and zest for life losing 30kg (66lb) in 20 weeks  

Businessman Rohaid gave his confidence and motivation the boost it needed in 20 weeks with Ultimate Performance that two years doing an MBA degree never could.

Thirty-year-old Rohaid outwardly had a perfect life – a nice lifestyle, a business and a loving relationship.

But his fitness was holding him back and he felt down, demotivated and his confidence was at rock bottom

Lockdown only made matters worse – he focused on building his business and it meant he let his health slip even more.

Vowing that enough was enough, Rohaid recruited the professionals at U.P. to help get him back in shape – but the incredible 30kg (66lb) transformation he achieved in five short months stunned even him.

“Before I started training at U.P., I was unhappy, unfit, demotivated, and had no self-confidence.   
“I didn’t like going out or meeting new people. Joining U.P. made a huge difference in my life.   

‘Now, I’m more active and a lot happier. I love going out, working out, and completing my steps. The biggest change, though, is that mentally, I’m much more confident now.”  

The difference in Rohaid is night and day. Before walking through the doors at U.P., Rohaid’s weight and body were negatively impacting his life.

It even stopped him from meeting his girlfriend’s family. However, he turned this into a big weight loss motivator on his journey and he promised to meet his partner’s parents once his bodyweight dropped below 85kg (187lbs).

Rohaid was introduced to U.P. through a friend – he saw the results he had achieved and signed up instantly for his own transformation.

“I came to know about U.P. through Omar, who was also a trainee at U.P., and I saw his transformation, so I immediately asked him what he did. He told me about his trainer and U.P., and the next day I signed up.

“Before U.P., I had two trainers in the past, but I didn’t have a very good experience. So, I used to think that getting trainers is a waste and it doesn’t get you anything, but while working out at U.P. with my trainer, it has been completely different.   

“My trainer knew what he was doing and how he was doing it. I was taught about every move and every little thing that I consumed. So, now I’m a lot more aware of what I put in my body. And as a result, I lost 30 kg (66lbs) in 20 weeks!”  

Thinking back to Day 1 of his U.P. program, the road ahead felt long. But Rohaid and his trainer took it one step at a time, and with teamwork and consistency, they achieved incredible results.

“On the first day, I worked out for 15-20 minutes on the prowler, and I vomited right after the session.  

“Also, I started with a deadlift of 40kg (88lbs), but now I am able to lift 120kg (264lbs). Similarly, when I started coming to U.P., doing 10,000 steps seemed a lot, but recently my girlfriend and I did a trek, and we completed 30,000 steps in one go.   

“So small achievements like these really make me feel better now. I don’t even know what my body fat percentage was earlier, though I am sure it must have been some ridiculous number. Now it is 20, and I’m really happy about that.”  

From his friends to his family, everyone was surprised and happy to see both the small and big transformations in Rohaid’s life.

His new lifestyle speaks volumes about the results he has achieved, and so do the numbers in his training process.

Rohaid’s journey from 108kg to 78kg (238lbs to 171lbs) is nothing less than an inspiration to everyone around him.

“Everyone who has seen me recently after a few months can’t believe that I’m the same person whom they had met earlier.

“Both my girlfriend and I picked up a lot of unhealthy habits, especially during the lockdown and while starting our new business. “

“Although she wasn’t as heavy as me, we had stopped caring about our physique and mindset, and we were like ‘we’ll think about it later.’ But when I signed up, I already felt a mental change in the first week, and she noticed it as well.   

“So when she saw me completing my steps, eating clean, and training here, she felt proud of me, and that’s when I told her that I wanted to share this experience with her because I was sure that she wouldn’t get to experience it anywhere else.  

“After I joined U.P., seeing the physical and mental changes in me, my girlfriend and best friend joined U.P. as well.   

“And now we would recommend this program to anyone who’s looking to start something new in life, whether it’s business or getting married or having kids, anything. One must come to U.P.!”
