But for years Scott had struggled with his weight.
āIāve always been quite big. I was a fairly chubby teenager then into my early twenties.
āThen I started running and lost quite a lot of weight.Ā Then it just gradually piled on until I joined U.P.

āBut then when I saw these pictures, I thought āthatās not enoughā. I needed something much more drastic and intense and I like to set myself challenges and take myself out of my comfort zone, and thatās definitely what I did.Ā Itās been the best thing Iāve ever done.ā

Scott was relatively new to lifting weights. He had always done cardio training in the past.
But his training had become less and less effective, he wasnāt seeing results and his weight was creeping up.

āIāve never really been a body confident person.Ā Iād always hide it away. I used to wear a lot of black t-shirts and all black. My wardrobe now is an array of colours.
āTrying on a 30-inch jeans for the first time was incredible. Thatās not happened to me since I was about 19.
āI never thought that would happen. Iām now a medium, approaching a small in terms of tops.Ā My waist size has gone right down, my legs look better.
āItās completely changed how I feel about myself, and itās just made me a lot more confident day to day.ā
