I initially contacted UP because, despite spending a lot of time in the gym, I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted. I had heard that UP had a great reputation for achieving dramatic results and that if you committed to a programme, you could really see a difference. Even from my first session with James, I could see that this wasn’t going to be like anything I had done before.
What do you feel that you have achieved:
I feel training with UP has been rewarding on several levels. Firstly, James has helped me to achieve some excellent results in a short space of time – I can really see the difference in my body and other people have also commented on it. I have been able to try more advanced resistance training, which is something I could never have tried on my own and to see how different types of training can achieve dramatic results. In addition to this, my sessions with James have been really good fun and inspiring – as well as being very tough!
What have you learned:
Through my UP training programme, I have learnt a lot about nutrition and how diet compliments any fitness programme. I have also learnt how to push my own limits and how to become more focussed mentally. James always made himself available for me to ask questions or advice which made a big difference.
What’s next for you:
UP has really changed my approach to diet and fitness and my understanding of how the body works. Going forward I’d like to bring what I have learnt into the training I do on my own and how I eat. I also hope to take up so more sessions at UP, as it’s quite addictive!
What would you be willing to tell others about your experience with us:
It is tempting to keep UP my secret, but I would definitely recommend it to others and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend James as a personal trainer . My time training with him and has been fantastic and a really unique experience.

- Your results are a function of time spent following the plan; your genetic response to the right exercise and diet program; how hard you train; how consistently you come to the gym; how disciplined you are with your diet; & your starting point.
- Oftentimes the lower your starting point (poor fitness, terrible body composition) the better your results.
- We cannot do the work for you and the results you see here are a testament to the work ethic of our clients.
- Our reputation is that we are the best trainers in the world for helping you to unlock your potential, & we can lead you to the door, give you the key, even turn the handle and push the door open, but we cannot walk through it for you.
