When 16-year-old Kshitij started training, he didn’t believe he could get results.   

He had come to Ultimate Performance alongside his older brother, who was going through his own body transformation.   

Kshitij thought he was too young to be able to build muscle and get in the shape that he wanted.   

But working with an expert trainer at U.P. not only helped him build a muscular new body, it also set him up for life on how to train and eat the right way.   

“My muscles are more defined, and my abs are showing. I have a V-type of shape going on. Everything I wanted to see, I saw in the pictures.  

“The service is absolutely phenomenal, and the trainers over here are world-class.”  

From the day he walked through the doors at U.P., he knew this was a gym on a whole different level – the atmosphere, the intensity, the quality of training and equipment and the results-driven culture.

“The atmosphere in U.P., as soon as you step on that gym floor, it’s absolutely electric.   

“The music is going off. Your trainers are yelling “Push yourself! Go! Go!”. It’s amazing, and especially as I’m training with my brother, it’s been an amazing experience. It’s been a bonding experience for us too.”  

When he started, he could see that everything was data-driven and done with precision at U.P., from the exercise techniques to the weekly progress measurements.

“The first day I walked in, they measured each part of my body – the circumference and the fat measurements were on point.   

“They do also have a physiotherapist because you’re susceptible to injuries if you’re not doing it with the right form — which is highly unlikely over here considering the trainers are so good.”  

As someone relatively young and new to weight training, having a world-class trainer guiding and mentoring him was vital.

He was able to learn the key exercise and perfect the techniques which had laid the right foundations for life.

“My trainer pushed me a lot. We both had the same goal, we both worked towards the same goal, and I wouldn’t change any of that.   

“My trainer always told me we do not need to up the weights if I cannot do it. The form has to be right. I don’t think I can emphasise this enough, that the right form is going to define your muscles more. It’s going to make them pop. The form is more important than the weights, to be honest.”  

Having a trainer to push him to maximise every rep and achieve his potential has given him results he never thought possible at the start.

“As a 16-year-old, I didn’t think I would see the results I wanted to see, basically.    

“But I did! And surprisingly enough, it worked out!   

“And for any 16-year-olds out there, I just want to say start working out. It is a perfect time – hormones are kicking in, your testosterone is at an all-time high which also helps you work out. Sixteen, I think, is the perfect age.”  

Seeing the change in his physique from when he first started has been mind-blowing.

This transformation got him noticeably leaner with more visible muscle.

“I didn’t know the difference would be so much, but there’s a huge difference between the pictures we photographed on the first day.   

“I was slouching, my posture was off, there were no chest muscles, and my arms had little muscle on them — not much. It was basically just muscle hanging off a bone.   

“When you compare them to pictures in the third week or fourth week, anyone can tell that there’s a huge difference between the two pictures.”  

 

Sceptical at first about the training, Kshitij believes it has been a great investment in himself with the life lessons and results U.P. delivers.

Armed with the knowledge of training with the right techniques and controlling his diet, Kshitij has discovered the ingredients to live a healthier lifestyle and urges people to start as early as possible.

“I would tell people that yes, indeed U.P. is a bit expensive. I thought the same in my mind as well, but I’m telling you, it’s worth every penny.    

“They’ve got the best of the best over here to train you, to guide you, and to push you to your limits.  

“It’s like a military workout program. I’m not going to lie – it is difficult, but it’s worth it.”
