Emma put her health before her career for the first time in 10 years and now feels a million dollars.
Before U.P., she had focussed on her work life, but struggling to lose weight was affecting her confidence.

Fast-forward 14 weeks and Emma is in incredible shape. She lost the weight and feels happy and confident again.
Speaking about completing her transformation at Ultimate Performance Manchester, she said: “I felt like a million dollars, my clothes fit well and I had a lot of energy.
“Most importantly I was able to go on my holiday body confident.”
All it took for Emma was taking three hours out of her busy work week to invest in improving her health and fitness.
Before U.P., her struggle with weight loss was affecting her and she didn’t feel in control of her diet.
“Turning 30, I found it harder to lose the Christmas weight or the holiday weight, and started feeling like weight was “sticking” in areas that it had not previously. I didn’t feel like myself.
“I was the heaviest I had ever been and my clothes were getting tight. I was not body confident and felt I needed to take action.
“I committed to training three times a week, and actually put myself before work for the first time in 10 years.”
Changing her diet and understanding the nutrition that she needed to fuel her body was a huge part of her successful transformation at U.P.
“I thought I always tried to ‘eat healthily’, however, being with U.P. educated me on what is ‘healthy’.
“The biggest difference, ironically, was eating more, having breakfast every day, and drinking much more water.
“I felt like I had more energy very quickly. I made time for me and put myself first.”
Emma said the biggest issue before U.P. was skipping meals and calculating the right portion sizes.
U.P.’s gourmet meal preparation service, EatUP, changed all that.
“Eating regularly really made a difference. The EatUP meals really helped with what to eat and what were the right portion sizes. It also made life easy, as there was no prep required.
“I found I had lots more energy and generally more positive and happier in myself.”
Emma’s transformation has fundamentally changed her relationship with food and exercise, for the better.
“The gym, for me, has always been unenjoyable and slightly intimidating. I had tried many PTs in and around Manchester before U.P., and I fluctuated up and down in weight and had no noticeable results.

Emma put herself out of her comfort zone and her determination to succeed helped her achieve her goal in 14 short weeks.
Completing her transformation has changed everything for her.
“I always made the excuse that ‘I never had time’, but at U.P. I learned that I needed to make time and invest in myself to get results, just as I would in a business.
“As much as the training is a major part of the process, I was also educated on all the aspects that can affect my weight, whether that be stress, sleep or food,
“I have a complete new mindset, which I believe has changed my whole lifestyle.
“Nothing really worth doing is ever easy as they say, and it’s certainly not, each session is more of a challenge than the last but it’s totally worth it and almost enjoyable at times!
“I plan to continue my journey with U.P. and would recommend them on the basis it’s the best thing you will ever do for yourself.”
