The drop in weight looks as astounding in real life as they seem on paper. It’s something Abhishek barely thought possible when he first started his journey at U.P.

By his own admission, Abhishek’s biggest problem was food. He couldn’t resist overindulging, and the fact that all his favourites were calorie-rich Indian dishes only made it worse.

“For the last 20 years, I have been exercising – it’s not as if I was leading a very idle or sedentary life. But the results were not visible.

“To a large extent, I would attribute my problems to my diet.

“Indian food is very rich in calories, and it’s very hard to say no. Whatever is yummy, whatever is delicious is full of calories!”

“But at U.P., I realised that it’s all about discipline. If you want to look a particular way if you want to get rid of these lifestyle problems like cholesterol and obesity, you have to exhibit a certain degree of discipline.”

Abhishek dived into U.P. with complete dedication.

Nutrition was a big challenge for him as he was a vegetarian, but with his trainer’s guidance, he discovered new types of food that could fulfil his dietary requirements.

“Weight training 3 hours a week is no big deal. In my opinion, it can easily be managed, no matter how busy a person is.

“Achieving such a drastic transformation by merely putting in 3 hours a week is simply incredible. I have learned so much about diet and nutrition.

“In fact, the eating habits of my entire family has improved considerably since I joined, and results are apparent for everyone within my family.”

Abhishek was startled at the pace of change and how quickly he saw results.

“I visited my doctor, and my blood pressure reading was very low, and he immediately asked me to discontinue my blood pressure medications. All my readings are now perfect!”

“I never anticipated the results to trickle in so fast!

“Now, whenever I see my old photographs from Facebook or Instagram, I find it very difficult to visualise or imagine how much weight I was carrying at that time.”

It feels like the start of an incredible new chapter in his life – with health on his side and the tools to continue his journey, he feels anything is possible.

“The transformation has been remarkable, but I still feel this is just the beginning.

“I have got places to go, but at least now, I have learnt to respect my body better.

“And I have realised what it requires and what it will take to move to the next level from here. It is all about doing the right thing, the right way, and through the right technique.”
