I was looking to take my fencing, and general fitness, to the next level. I contacted quite a few personal trainers in both regular and private gyms however UP was the most impressive in terms of trainers and gym equipment. What do you feel that you have achieved:

My leg strength and stamina has improved so I am able to fence longer and with more power. My regular solo workouts are also more intense as I tend to feed off the intensity of the personal training sessions.

What have you learned:

‘until failure’. You’re done when you can’t do it, not when you think you can’t do it.

What’s next for you:

Keep focused on my workout routine and mix it up. There is always someone stronger/tougher/faster than you so you can’t get complacent if you want to keep up with the competition.
