Despite his hectic travel schedule and busy job, the 24-year-old got into the shape of his life in just 21 weeks.
He’s gone from struggling to sleep and focus to bouncing out of bed early, hitting 15,000 steps a day and getting the most out of his life.

What was your motivation to reach out to U.P. and start a personal training plan?
I was struggling to focus and found it difficult to sleep. That’s what kickstarted me into seeking support and joining U.P. I’d always been in and out of training, but never committed myself to a program 100%.
I’d never been in the right mental space to carry out a personal training program, I wasn’t serious about changing my body.
I think we’re all guilty of not keeping ourselves accountable. That was the difference with U.P., I was held accountable and my trainer checked on me outside the gym..
How impressed have you been with the results you’ve seen from your plan?
I must have put on around 7kg to 9kg of muscle. I have never been in this kind of shape before in my life.
I didn’t even think these results were possible. The great thing is, moving forward, I’m never going to go back to how I was before. This has changed my life both mentally and physically.
I feel a lot more confident in myself. I’ve never had the confidence to go around with my chest held high and knowing that I’ve got a good body. I’m looking forward to getting back to the UK for the festival season now!
How impressed were you with U.P. and the support of your trainer?
The attention to detail at U.P. is crazy.
I got a science-backed, tailor-made program specific to my lifestyle and goals. I’ve been to a few gyms before, but I’ve never experienced anything like this.
My trainer was very passionate about his job and my results – it felt like a partnership. He was always on hand whenever I had any questions – that’s something that I’ve never had before.
How much has your life changed since you started your training program?
I’ve seen dramatic change, not just in my gym performance, but in my lifestyle as a whole. I’m getting up early every morning and have a set routine to follow.
I’ve also been hitting 10,000 or 15,000 steps per day and made a commitment to keep on top of my activity throughout the day.
I remember my trainer saying to me on the first day I got here, “if you commit to your program, it will change your life.” And that’s exactly what has happened.
How did your training plan fit in with your busy lifestyle?
I’ve been back and forth from the UK three or four times. They’re not short breaks either, I think my longest break was around one and a half months. I’ve also got a very busy office job, which means I’m sat down all day. It takes up a huge chunk of my day, so we had to work around that, but we made it work.
My trainer put together a program that worked around my lifestyle specifically. There wasn’t any point where he turned around and said “you can’t do that” or “you’re going to have to miss out on this part of the program”. We made everything work. If you’ve got a busy lifestyle and make an excuse that you don’t have time to work out, that’s all it is, just an excuse!
What makes U.P. stand out from other personal trainers that you have previously worked with?
It’s chalk and cheese, there is no comparison. I’ve worked with other personal trainers before, and I’m not discrediting them, but what U.P. do is something completely different.
The personal trainers are all incredibly passionate – they genuinely care about their client’s performance and results. Trainers at other gyms are on a payroll and don’t get anything out of your results.
It doesn’t matter to them whether you do well or not, they’re still getting paid. Which again, is no discredit to them, but U.P. trainers are incentivised to get the best out of you.
What would you say to people who are thinking about starting their own U.P. training plan?
My best advice to anybody considering coming to U.P., is just do it. Make the investment into yourself – it’ll be the best investment that you ever make.
You’ll never regret it, you really won’t. I’ll definitely continue to work with my trainer, I couldn’t recommend it more. The results on U.P.’s website speak for themselves.
