41-year-old Jiten’s weight sky-rocketed to over 123kg after the birth of his daughter.
In this condition, being an active father felt like an uphill battle. He was regularly short of energy and suffered from bad back pain.
With another child on the way, Jiten couldn’t bear the thought of returning to anywhere near his former weight.
He managed to shed some fat ahead of the birth of his new son, but it was Ultimate Performance who helped him make a stunning transformation.
Following the lead of his trainer, he has dropped 29kg and is leaner than ever, despite being self-employed and working seven days a week.
Jiten realised by the time his daughter was 20, he would be 60. Driven by the concern of an unhealthy future, he now understands exactly how to stay in shape long-term.
“We’re having another baby in a few weeks, so I wanted to get to a healthy stage by then.
“I just needed a routine and accountability. Once you get to a certain point where you see incredible results, you just want more and more.
“If I ever needed anything from my trainer, I’d text him. If I needed to know something I would get the answer back straight away.”

What motivated you to partner with Ultimate Performance and lose weight?
I did a U.P. transformation a few years back and achieved good weight loss results, I got down to around 69kg. But when my daughter was born, I reached 123kg. Before I started at U.P. this time around, I got down to about 99kg. But that was the reason for re-joining – to get back to where I was before, and better.
This time, I had even more drive because we’re having another baby in a few weeks, so I wanted to get to a healthy stage by then. That’s the main reason I came to U.P., for my kids. When you’re heavy, you get back pains and feel sluggish. You don’t have much energy and all you do is just eat. I was thinking in the back of my head when my daughter was born, by the time she’s 20, I’ll be 60. What shape will I be in then if I keep going like this?
What was your lifestyle like before you started your transformation?
After my first transformation, I got married and got a little bit more comfortable. Then as life went on, other things came around and slowly, I started to put the weight back on. My priorities changed – I got married and had kids, becoming heavier and heavier.
Then I started working out again just last year in lockdown. I began walking because my weight got a bit ridiculous after I had my daughter. I started walking near the canal around the back of my house. I did that for about two months and followed a sensible diet. I then started jogging, so decided to come to U.P. straight from there.
How did you find the transformation process, and how rewarding was the end result?
I just needed a routine and accountability. I knew it was not going to be easy, it never is. If you want something, you just have to work for it. If I ever needed anything from my trainer, I’d text him. If I needed to know something I would get the answer back straight away.
Training at 5am in the morning and then working all day, finishing late at night and having four hours sleep was tough. But we found a way and we’ve got there. There are 101 excuses you can find to quit, but you just got to look at your results. Once you get to a certain point where you see incredible results, you just want more and more.

The app really helps, you start to rely on it. Everything you do, you can log really simply. I think I would have quit if the app was not so simple. I wouldn’t have had time to log everything I ate.
