Twenty-six-year-old software engineer Terence sat at his desk and coded all day long.

He had always dreamt of building a muscular and defined physique, but he knew that being sat at a computer all day wasn’t going to help.

He tried to learn weight training on his own and even hired personal trainers, but the lack of results left him underwhelmed, disappointed and demotivated.

“Over 17 weeks, I lost 13kg and reduced my body fat from 24% to 9%. I never thought such a transformation was possible, not to mention that it was done in a relatively short period of time.

“I am very proud of myself that I was able to pull myself through the whole process and achieved something I never believed I could do.”

 

 

Before coming to U.P., Terence had tried so many things to change his body, but he always felt something was missing.

“When I was younger, I tried personal coaches, transformational programmes, I tried to figure it out on my own looking for guides online, and I even signed up for a gym. However, I never ever got the results I wanted, and because of that, I was never motivated, and I usually gave up very easily.

“Before U.P, I always felt lethargic and tired, even when I was getting ‘sufficient’ sleep and rest. I ate whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, with no knowledge of how the food I ate affected me.”

 

 

Terence was very clear that he wanted something sustainable – not a quick-fix, but something that would slot into his life for the long run.

With an overview of his diet, he finally started understanding how factors such as food and sleep affect the whole transformation.

“I began tracking all my meals, and it gave me a very clear picture of what I was eating every day, and it gave my trainer clarity on how he can adjust my diet as well as understand what I needed to make my diet sustainable.

“It wasn’t always easy, but the thing that helped me most was my trainer. He was very patient with me. He always looked at my current condition and found out what the problem was and why I was not adhering to my diet. And he suggested solutions to cut down on hunger cravings.”

Along with building an incredible body, Terence also gained valuable knowledge that he could carry on applying even after his transformation goals were accomplished.
