Doctor Al was in his fifties and had begun to look and feel his age.   
He saw work colleagues around him suffering with chronic diseases and was worried his health was heading the same way.   
Despite following diets and trying to exercise regularly, his weight was going up and so was his cholesterol – so he wanted a radical approach that would overhaul his health and reinvigorate his lifestyle.

One of the biggest challenges Al was faced was altering his diet. After trying many diet fads and achieving no results, Al’s trainer at U.P. not only focused on his physical training exercises but also modified his diet into a more nutritious and healthy one to achieve better results.

“My diet wasn’t too bad as I was adopting a paleo diet, then vegan. However, I still felt I was putting on weight. I was not eating regularly during the day and binge eating at night.   
“I was snacking quite a bit so although I was eating healthy food I didn’t feel healthy with my diet. As far as my lifestyle goes, I thought it was an active lifestyle but in retrospect now I realised it was quite a sedentary lifestyle and required a change of mindset to move forward.”   
“I was lacking in self-confidence with the way that I looked when on the beach I was looking old, looking my age and I didn’t feel that I looked fit when I saw myself and that’s one of the reasons I came to U.P.” 
Al noticed the results within the first few weeks with the body pains vanishing and the energised feeling when he woke up.
